Bandits (Midget A1) - Champions of the Kanata Tournament
The
Orleans Bandits participated in a tournament hosted at the Bell Sensplex
this weekend in which 14 teams were all competing for the big prize.
After losing its first game in a 3 game round robin, the Bandits never
looked back and won 5 consecutive games to eventually be crowned Champions.
The competition was great with teams coming from the Toronto area, the
Sudbury area and West end Ottawa. The Bandits showed great character and
work ethics and played some awesome hockey. It was an exciting weekend
for the players, the coaching staff and the parents.

Children's Fitness Tax Credit
Tax
credit slips can be picked up at the OMHA office at Bob MacQuarrie Sports
Complex on the following dates:

Tuesday,
February 9, 2009 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Wednesday,
February 17, 2009 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Only parents/guardians
are eligible to pick up the tax slips and are for each child who is under
16 years of age at the beginning of the year in which the expenses are
paid.
